The Alma de Bahía Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to protecting Puerto Rico's natural resources and wildlife while fostering sustainable, community-driven growth. From safeguarding endangered sea turtles to rescuing animals and supporting neighboring communities in Río Grande and Loíza, Alma de Bahía embodies stewardship, compassion, and legacy, transforming every action into lasting impact.

Environmental Education & Outreach
17 annual campaigns, 13,000+ students reached, 20,000+ volunteers mobilized.
Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation
1,300+ dogs and cats rescued via Sato & Gato Rescue and Alina's Cat Sanctuary.
Sustainability & Environmental Stewardship
17+ years protecting the Espíritu Santo River and advancing the Northeast Trail System.
